Bart Carey, M.D., founded the Carey Vision Medical Group in 1998. Dr. Carey has been a member of the Stanford University faculty since 1994, is the co-director of the Stanford Eye Laser Center in San Jose, and recently served as Chair of the Division of Ophthalmology at El Camino Hospital in Mountain View. Dr. Carey received his medical training and education at Stanford University, the University of California, Los Angeles, and the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. The Carey Vision Medical Group is a member of the Stanford Refractive Network, an association of leading Bay Area ophthalmologists dedicated to continuous professional development. All CVMG physicians are Board Certified members of the American Academy of Ophthalmology.
