“As I start to write this one day after my eye surgery, I realize that July 19, 2007 truly impacted my life. It is not only amazing, but an absolute miracle that I now have perfect eye sight without the use of glasses – something I have longed for the past few years. Thank you for making it possible for me to see the beauty of the colors in the flowers which you gave me today. You and your staff are deeply appreciated.”
-Yvonne, patient of Gordon, Binder and Weiss Vision Institute
“Thank you so very much for changing the way I see the world, literally. You put your patients at ease, you explain things very clearly but most importantly you have a great sense of humor. You really make eye surgery a wonderful experience. “
-Amy, patient of Gordon, Binder and Weiss Vision Institute
“I didn’t expect my vision to be better than with contact lenses! My deepest gratitude to you and your excellent staff. As a firefighter/paramedic, my vision frequently involves life and death situations for myself and others. I feel so much safer without contact lenses or glasses.”
-James, Firefighter/Paramedic, patient of Dr. Carl T. Hartman
“From consultation through follow-up appointments with my optometrist, including the surgery, the doctors and staff were excellent. It’s a cliche but true…my biggest regret is not having done it sooner. There’s no reason for anxiety or worry. Great job! Thanks.”
-Mike, Marketing Manager, patient of Dr. Carl T. Hartman
"I'm writing to thank you and your staff for your "world class" care during and after my eye surgery. I've always tried to find the very best physicians and I'm pleased to say that is exactly what occurred... you are the specialists I was looking for!
Also, I must say that I felt relaxed and secure being offered the latest in technology during my surgery from the very best, Harvard Eye Associates. it is a procedure that I would recommend to anyone needing and wanting only the best. The results are perfect! I couldn't be more pleased!"
-James, Olympian, patient of Harvard Eye Associates
"It is a challenge for me to find the words to express my current state of mind...but I'll give it a try. Ecstatic. Thrilled. Joy. Bliss. Free. I can SEE!!! I can see better than I've ever been able to see in my life even with glasses or contacts. The world is like eye candy! I haven't been able to stop smiling!"
-Denise, patient of Harvard Eye Associates
“What a pleasant experience at the Turner Eye Institute! Initially, I wasn't sure that I was a candidate for Lasik because I had an astigmatism. The informative staff explained all of the available procedures, including the procedure for astigmatism. They did a great job informing me of the pros and cons of the surgery as well as alternatives. The actual procedure itself was quick and easy, but I never felt rushed. Waking up in morning after the surgery and not having to reach for my glasses to watch the news was so nice. That day I was back on the court working out players. I was also able to spend some time on my laptop working on the Warrior's playbook for the season. I am looking forward to working on the court without fearing that my glasses will get knocked off! Thank you so much for everything! A twenty minute procedure has changed my life. I can see!”
-Stephen, professional basketball player, patient of Dr. Stephen Turner
“I was wearing bi-focals when I was about 11 and switched to hard contacts when I was 13 years old. My mother is legally blind and it seemed as though I was headed down the same road. At some point in my teens I switched to soft contacts then to extended wear. I was weary of the daily routine chores, inconvenience and hassle. I waited for years before getting serious about corrective surgery.
The entire experience with Dr. Wallace and his staff was excellent. Superb customer service skills and follow through is not a thing of the past after all! Yeah! I was not personally upset or afraid of the surgery itself. It lasted less than 10 minutes and the recovery time and discomfort was minimal. But if you have any fear, the staff has all kinds of methods for helping you understand and overcome.
When the surgery was done I could see - 20/15 – better than normal in both eyes. It's a year later and there have been no side effects, no problems, and NO hassles!! If you are a contact lens wearer and have been for years, GO FOR IT!! It's an amazing thing, beyond your wildest dreams to see well without any "assistance" from glasses or contacts. It's heaven and it happens the moment you sit up after the procedure!”
-Laurie, photographer, patient of Dr. David Wallace
“I didn’t realize how much I was missing until I got (Custom) LASIK done! I can finally experience all of the little things everyone takes for granted on a daily basis. I’m recommending LASIK to everyone I know, and I am thankful I decided to finally do it and fortunate that I found Dr. Wilmarth - it changed my life. Really.”
-Kecia, patient of Dr. Stephen Wilmarth
“I’m 84 years of age with a marvelous new look at the world. Since my Crystalens surgery I can see 20/20 in the distance and read a book. Everything in between is clear. All without glasses.”
-Henry, patient of Dr. Stephen Wilmarth
“I had worn glasses since the age of 7 and contacts for 48 years, since age 14. I am now 63 y.o. Finally, this February I made my decision to have cataract surgery by Dr. Ash after nearly 1 1/2 years. My vision was unclear and hazy, and the strength of my contacts had been increased several times over the past few years. I kept thinking how scary it would be to lose my eyesight should the surgery not go well, what would I do? Most of my activities require the ability to see close...reading painting, knitting, making jewelry. Even after Dr. Ash describing the procedure thoroughly, I remained leery and anxious. Both eye surgeries were totally painless and from the time I went into the pre-op room, we were home in the house...45 minutes later! I was afraid to look at all.. the light was very bright, so I was quite surprised the next morning in the Dr's office when I really took a look at the eye chart...Amazing!! I was able to read and see clearly...less halos around lights than the rainbow halos I had prior to surgery. The ReZoom lens affords me no glasses at all and I can read and see in the distance. I am seeing details I did not even see with my contacts, probably because I had worn the mono vision lens set up for quite a few years. After the 2nd lens was done by Dr. Ash, my vision has been so bright and clear. Colors are amazing and vision much sharper. Several people have commented on the clarity and brightness of my eyes. I have resumed driving at night. I am thankful and grateful to have had the ReZoom lenses implanted and for the expertise, caring and ease with which Dr. Ash "gave this gift "of clear sight to me. I am truly grateful”.
-Cheryl, Patient of Dr. Amin Ashrafzadeh
“That evening I picked up a book to see if I could read, and, of course, with medicines in your eyes it's still kind of blurry. But the next morning, just with the one eye, I picked up my book and could read, and I couldn't believe it. I was elated, honestly. And then, after two additional weeks, I could read out of that second eye - both helping. I covered one eye, then the other eye...equally as good, and I was really excited.
When a person depends upon their eyes there is no way to express it unless they have gone though the same thing. And, those ReZoom™ Lenses honestly took care of the problem quickly. I still talk about it. Its been two months on one eye and six weeks on the other eye, and I'm still talking about it. I'm a walking-talking advocate of the ReZoom.
-Norman L, Patient of Dr. V. Nicholas Batra
“My Crystalens surgery is a lifelong dream come true. I was unable to wear contact lenses and was not a candidate for Lasik. I can drive, work on the computer or read the newspaper all without glasses”.
